If your trying to get swirls out with (for example) ssr 2 and there are still some swirls, would you go with ssr 2.5 or stay with ssr 2 and use a more aggresive pad on your pc? If you use ssr2 on a pad, can you use ssr 1 on the same pad?

one more thing, what the difference between ssr 2 and 2.5? Is s.5 just a little bit more abbrasive?

Try another pass with the SSR2 and polishing pad.
If that doesn't work, try the SSR2.5 and a polishing pad.
If that doesn't work, try the SSR2.5 and a polishing pad... again.
If that doesn't work, you might need a rotary and a much more aggressive product. A PC can only do so much... unless you are willing to work on it for a LONG time. :D

Well, it's more than "a little bit", but not much more.
