my partner still runs around doing regular washes on vehicles he hasnt detailed, hes always telling me this particular honda owner wants his cupholders spotless and a few other int. areas, i told him to tell him thats not what hes paying for, hes paying for a quick vac, quick wipedown and glass on the interior.

my question... should he be digging into every cupholder for a 25-35 dollar job? am i wrong or do you classify that as part of an interior detail?

Altho we don't do that level of work, his 'clients have no right to *****... look them right in the eye, and ask if they're serious...

On the other hand, that is likely a demographic that would never consider a ($200) complete detail, so...

He is in a no win situation.

I'd charge the guy more if he won't pay for details but wants minor detailing done as part of a wash. If not, he can take a hike.

well thats basically what ive been doing lately if either sending jobs like that to my partner who doesnt mind becuase he really doesnt seem that interested in big jobs. theres a s600 owned by a dr here and ive charged him hourly in the past but recently he only wants to spend 25 bucks, i know him pretty well so i explained to him is hes going to a dentist with a cavity and wants his teeth bleached. hes weekly but i refuse to touch his car unless its getting the attention and products i produce. it is aggrevating throwing money away but im interested in doing professional work on a daily basis and im not very interested in letting my products grow mold.
