Quick Details - v. 330ci and S4

Just a couple of quick details, just using a new technique. I bought a 2 gallon sprayer from Home Depot. It's the big cylinder style with the hose and wand. You pump it to get pressure. Anyways, filled that with 1 oz QEW and the rest water. I find that its an EXCELLENT pre-soak for a QEW wash. It helps wash away/emulsify loose dirt, especially important this time of year.

So I presoaked, then did the 2 bucket QEW method over the entire vehicle. I washed down the rims, tires, wells, and then sprayed Gliptone Carnauba Body Gloss (3 spritz per panel) and dried with a WW MF. Such a great combo, IMO. The Body Gloss helps make the surface slick for drying and helps reduce the chance of wash induced marring. It also adds a nice carnauba glow and adds slickness too. I did NOT notice any streaking on windows. All in all, a great little regimen for a quick wash. BnB on the tires/wells (don't mind the S4 wells).

Any questions, I'd be glad to answer.

Thanks.

The Audi is every week from now on. I am polishing it out next week.

The Bimmer will probably be on and off. I'm doing his 19" rims for him off the car next week. :)

I have a sprayer mentioned in original post. I spray them down, then spray an APC solution in and let soak. I then take a older, wet chenille pad and just scrub, then rinse with the sprayer, let dry and dress with PB BnB.

Nice......doesnt this weather suck...it is supposed to snow again ...another 6"

Jamaica next week thursday... :drunk

Both cars look great! I have actually been thinking of getting one of those sprayers for QEW washes and when its cold out. I thought about one of those kind that you can give it a shot of air with a compressor, but its probably just as easy to pump it w/ the handle.

Very nice !!! Did you ever drive the S4 ? I drove an 02 S8 about 2 weeks ago, and really enjoyed the handling abilities of the larger car.

Great job on both !!!

BTW... Just received my first order of QEW after UPS destroyed the previous 2 sent out from camping world. Cannot wait to try out using your technique.

Exquisite: It works great. It rinses/emulsifies the dirt which really takes a lot of fear away while using QEW. I noticed ZERO marring from the either vehicle and both were relatively dirty.

Glen: I have a sample I'm itching to try. Have to get rid of the old stuff first :)

Dean: The thing is pretty amazing. I like the Recaro leathers all the way around. The owner drives it like it should be driven and man does it go :). Definately give this way a shot. I won't use QEW anymore without my little bug sprayer :lol

Here's a pic of it:

Groebuck: HAHA :rolling Shazamm! I guess I walked into that one.

GSRstilez: How is the price if you don't mind me asking? I am considering a foam gun maybe that might be an option.

It was like $25 total with tax. It comes with a foaming attachment. It feels like a very sturdy piece. My friend down south uses it for foaming his wheel/tire/well cleaner and says its very resistant to chemicals.
