Washed my car this weekend applied 2x UPP. It got kind of dusty and today it got a few rain drops on it while parked. It is 100% swirl free now after the full detail a couple weeks ago.

Would you all say its safe to QD the dust and small drops off and whipe with a clean MF. I dont have spray and whipe I should get some thought I got 2 gallons one of Finial Detail and one of Crystal Mist.
 
That's kinda iffy. The dust wouldn't be a problem, but I don't know about the raindrops. Might be mud. :)
Can you try a small area to see if you do cause any marring? At least that way you wouldn't have to redo the entire car again.

I dont want to take the chance I never really use QD unless there is finger prints or just garage dust. I will wash it this weekend.

I need some Spray and Whipe.
 
Frozen, what was your full-detail to make it Swirl Free? Also I dont ever use QD on dust, maybe "california dust" it and then go over the water marks.

P.S. There is site that has Engine Kote and APC (discontinued) for cheap and in 1-5 gallon sizes, dealergoodies.com, meguiars pg. 3. THX again for the tips on the wheels wells!

dealer goodies is nice but you have to give them proof of buisiness like tax number to buy from them I have tried before. Ask Dwayne he probley has the new replacement APC+ and the new water based dressing from the dealer line. The new ones are equally good if not better.


My full detail was pretty extensive. My car was in great shape from previous full details so I did a light buff with a mild compound and did the rear tailgate with something stronger as it had deeper swirls.

I would S&W cautiously in that situation with my paint. No way that I would QD. QEW for sure, but not QD. just my paint, yours maybe fine.
 
My paint doesnt swirl that easily it had minimal swirls from the winter and all summer but I like to be safe and im to anal about it being swirled. I will just wash this weekend add a couple coats of UPP I wonder how many I can have just over lapping each time I wash.
