I too use PB S&W a lot. Afterwards, I'll often use a QD to give it some protection and shine.

Rather than start a new thread, I thought I would just run this one into the ground.
Those of you that are using a QD made from either ONR or DP 4 in1, how do you feel it compares to other QD's you have used?
Not as a clay lube, but as a QD.
Considering the fact that I have QD's that I paid from $15 to $60 per gallon, the $2 per gallon that the ONR/4 in 1 would cost sounds like it's almost too good to be true.
Charles
I agree, I sometimes wonder if ONR or DP 4 in 1 at QD strength would do just as good as Poor Boys Spray and Wipe.
After driving my vehicles either to a show or when I return home with my DD I use S&W on the rear because it has the most dirt their.Rather than start a new thread, I thought I would just run this one into the ground.

IF you mix 3 ounces to a 32 ounce bottle of water it will do every bit as good.I agree, I sometimes wonder if ONR or DP 4 in 1 at QD strength would do just as good as Poor Boys Spray and Wipe.
Here's a question I thought I have seen mentioned, can you dilute the PB SnW? It has worked flawlessly for me, but the talk of 4-1 or ONR dilluted makes me wonder.

I think some has diluted S&W but personally I would not. Here's a question I thought I have seen mentioned, can you dilute the PB SnW? It has worked flawlessly for me, but the talk of 4-1 or ONR diluted makes me wonder.

Is that possible? I mean for anything to be better than PB S&W?!![]()
While I have been happy with 4 in 1 as a rinseless wash and have no reservations about using it as a QD, I do have some reservations about using it to replace Spray & Wipe.IF you mix 3 ounces to a 32 ounce bottle of water it will do every bit as good.
I believe it has more lubricity.
This stuff is very versatile i always add it to my soap water when I do a conventional wash.
This is one product that I will never be without...
CHARLES try this put 3 ounces in a 32 ounce bottle and fill with water but leave room for shaking to mix good. While I have been happy with 4 in 1 as a rinseless wash and have no reservations about using it as a QD, I do have some reservations about using it to replace Spray & Wipe.
I had enough problem convincing myself to use S&W and it will be a real stretch to replace it with a 4 in 1 mix.
The 3 oz. in 32 oz. of water is a lot stronger than what we use for actually washing and it just might work.
Do you use the 4 in 1 at 29:3, water to 4 in 1, on a vehicle that is truly dirty?
So here's the kicker.CHARLES try this put 3 ounces in a 32 ounce bottle and fill with water but leave room for shaking to mix good.
Spray it on the paint and feel how much slicker it is than your S&W
If it is not too dirty to use S&W it isn't too dirty for 4-1 it is all in the dilution rate.
I have used it as a QD on my show car after I drove 60 miles to a show.So here's the kicker.
Do you use the 4 in 1 mix on your show car?![]()
You have me convinced for a QD, but I'll have to try it on a dirty panel of one of the vehicles before I am convinced it can replace the S&W.I have used it as a QD on my show car after I drove 60 miles to a show.
I can anticipate your next question??/Yes I WON
If it works on my BLACK car and my BLACK pickup it will work on anything just don't skimp on the 4-1 even at a 3 ounce in 32 ounce bottle it is still a better value as a QD than $20.00 for a 16o/z bottle of Crystal Mist
CHARLES whip out your credit card and order NOW you are running dangerously low on supples:rofl :yourrockYou have me convinced for a QD, but I'll have to try it on a dirty panel of one of the vehicles before I am convinced it can replace the S&W.
It's actually kind of a moot point for me. I have several gallons of various QDs, a gallon of DG Aqua Wax and several gallons of S&W.
I really don't need any more product. I even have over a gallon of 4 in 1 and close to 8 oz. of ONR.
I haven't tried it, but the fact that it is 20% more money per gallon means it would need to be 20% better.Have any of you tried Detailer's Pride Waterless Auto Wash? If so, how does it compare to Poor Boys Spray and Wipe?
Charles have you used 4-1 as a water conditioner???I haven't tried it, but the fact that it is 20% more money per gallon means it would need to be 20% better.
FWIW, The DP products do seem to be of good quality.
I just never felt like spending more for an unknown when I was happy with the S&W. Having several gallons of S&W on hand means I won't be trying the DP anytime soon, either.
I also haven't used 4 in 1 as a QD, but I do like it as a rinseless wash. And yes, I have tried ONR and QEW.
Charles have you used 4-1 as a water conditioner???
When I do a conventional wash I put in my soap and then add a couple ounces of 4-1
After trying this I will never wash again without adding this to my wash bucket.
It really changes my hard water and makes the soap water SOoooo much slicker. :bigups
I have not. By the time I got into the rinseless wash thing, I was no longer doing bucket washes. Based on how satisfied I have been with the 4 in 1 as a rinseless and S&W as a waterless, I'm not sure how much bucket washing I am going to be doing this summer.Charles have you used 4-1 as a water conditioner???

Both 4 in1 and ONR pretty much do the same things, just slightly different recommended ratios. Based on my limited experience with both products, I think I would buy whichever one was on sale at the time I was buying. ONR recommends using less product, but some people haveONR would do this as well, correct? I have seen it recommended, but haven't tried it myself.
