Quick clean-up for Bugatti USA

"The only polish that turns to GLASS. Not a silicone, wax, polymer,

or combination."

Cmon!!!!!

"Beautifies & Deodorizes" ...Deodorizes what???...your smelly paint?

"GLARE is IMPERVIOUS TO DULLING because the "shine" is built into the "Hard Shell." ...more nonsense

They have 2 products---GLARE Rapid Action and GLARE Professional Polish but they don't tell you anything about the difference between them or talk about how to apply any of the products.

Contacted by Bugatti USA(Todd Helme passed my name to them), they needed a quick clean up with no correction for a Grand Sport Edition to be shown @ a show for the premier of "Cars 2" @ Pixar studios in Emeryville.

Mobile job under tough conditions(No shade/water) but the maintenance guys for Pixar did show me a GFI outlet on the light standard in the parking lot so I was able to give the car a nice cleaning for the show the next day.

At arrival.

There was a decent amount of marring, and the car could use a thorough correction, but not horrible for a press car with 8K on the odometer.

After the car cooled down, I moved it to a spot with some shade and room and got started.

As there was no water source I brought my "Low pressure washer" and sprayed Sonax Full effect on the wheels and let stand and cleaned the barrels as usual.

Jeff @ Immaculate Reflections wanted to see the pull out bed on my truck, here it is Jeff.

Foot scuff on the clearfilm, utilized Premier's TTR to clean it.

Removing "Bug deposits" with the TTR.

As stated "No correction", but the finish was so dry I gave it a pass with Megs D301 and a finish pad for some smoothness.

Interior clean up.

Would have loved to give the car a full correction.......but now it is presentable.

ELegantE.......Love the Bugatti.........
I'm guessing the R8 is wearing a Matte white Finish
and no doubt the little car under the blanket is a bit
intimidating.....
:wizard:

Sick car! And I actually like that off-white color too. Not a huge fan of the McLaren though, I expected a little more style-wise. Especially having to follow one of the most unique designs of its day, the F1.

Thats dedication right there! Just gonna be a quick cleanup, but Bob is determined to give it better treatment than that! Gotta love the 301. Kept working into the night too. Gonna call that.... done with the "Dedicatedness" ;)

Thanks for the pic of the slideout bed Bob. VERY cool. How high does it elevate the floor of the bed? (thinking of clearance with my tonneau cover).

Great work Bob

Awesome work Bob. The Bugatti was in "more than qualified" hands. It is a shame that you didn't have the opportunity to correct the paint, or more accurately it is a shame that the Bugatti didn't have the opportunity to have you correct it.

It was nice to chat today, great work my friend.

Two inches is the approx clearance, you should be fine unless you have tall containers that you use.

Very cool, nice work Bob. Going inside the studio and seeing all of that had to be awesome. I would love to see inside there.
