Quick 1 2 Punch?

I pretty much only detail for a used car lot any more. I get paid one fee regardless of size or condition. Good news is most of them are fairly clean inside since they are cleaned up for auction. It pretty much evens out with easier vechicles and then harder vehicles with my price. I am doing interior, exterior and quick engine detail. They aren't paying me enough to get too crazy. I spend 3 - 5 hours on a car if I am doing them by myself.

Just looking for some other recommendations to do the most amount of correction with the least amount of passes. Honestly my go to is usually PB. I have recently been using 3M rubbing compound on some darker messed up cars just because it cuts to the chase with my PC but I don't like the dusting. I have never tried the Meg 105 and 205 yet but leaning that way.

Any other suggestions on a cut to the chase combination that has some punch but will also finish out well without upgrading to a rotary? Also price is obviously a factor I cannot have to much in cost or will never make any $.

my vote is d300 and mf pads

i'm sure someone else will agree. Sounds right for the type of work you're doing

then you could either d301 quickly, or straight to lsp depending on your technique, color of the car, and properties of the clear coat youre working on

Good suggestion the Megs MF pads and D300/D301 would be a nice combo. I use a bug sponge to clean the pads on-the-fly. Little to no dusting and no taping etc. D301 finishes fine for a pre-owned car.

I'd vote 5in Meg kit too. I'm pretty much exclusive MF pads Optimum and Megs. I use foam for final but that's refining. For your time this system would be great. Then try with 105/205 later when your granted more time on a vehicle. There won't be much you can't do.

Nice thing with the Meg kit the second step is polish and wax...done!
If they are looking just for a shine(no
Correction) the Compound pad and finish wax can sometimes be used as a 1 step

Thanks for the suggestions! Much appreciated. Picked up a Neon today - lol at least it's small thought I was getting over then I opened the door - crapolla.
