Questions for Prepping Fire Trucks/ Safety Equipment for Parades

OK, so this is an "unusual" request for suggestions on how to prepare fire trucks and safety equipment for the upcoming community celebration and parade season.

My reason for asking is that their are many volunteer and full-time professional fire fighters and first-responders who may peruse this forum for ideas and take great pride in their community safety equipment vehicles and spend an inordinate amount of time keeping them looking their best at all times, but especially for parades.
I would like to know what do you use on:
1) Red/safety yellow/white paint?
2) Chrome and/or brass fittings?
3) Polished Aluminum tread/diamond/step plate? (There's ALOT of square footage on these vehicles)
4) Plastic/polycarbonate enclosures for strobe/emergency lighting?
5) Tires and rubber/plastic/vinyl trim?

If you have or know of special fire truck/emergency vehicle-care products that your fire-and-safety department buy and use, please let us know.

As a side note, I would like to personally thank all the volunteer community fire fighter and first-responders who take the time and effort to serve our communities in this capacity. Here in Wisconsin, they are required to take many hours of training certification for this unpaid job and it is a BIG commitment on their part to accept this responsibility. So much so, that many of this state's communities are finding it difficult to staff their fire and safety department adequately with qualified personnel. My tip of the hat and heart-felt salute to those individuals who do so and I look forward to seeing you in the various community parades and celebrations and those who keep their emergency vehicles looking parade-dress ready.
