Questions about Zaino products

Hey guys,



Pretty new to the detailing world... just ordered my first PC!



Anyway, my question pertains to the waiting period between layers of Z2/5 without the ZFX. And yes, I do have Z6 to go between the layers.



1. Do I really have to wait 24 hours between applications?



2. If I apply Z5, buff it off, wipe with Z6, apply Z2... is that pointless? Is the Z2 just being wasted?



PC comes in on Monday!! :spot

12 hours should be good, loose the z6 between layers in my opinion, save it for other stuff. Yes, if you don't use ZFX do not layer. To be perfectly honest, you really don't need to layer Zaino that much!! One coat is great, two is real nice. but threeplus is overkill. Did you get ZAIO?
 
No I was under the impression that I did not need ZAIO...



My plan is to use Z18, ZPC, Z2/5 depending on paint, Z6



BTW, Z10 is the shiii! After that second application, my seats feel soft as butter!

Agreed. Just add a second layer next time you wash your car after the initial application.

Black... Nighthawk Black Pearl (Honda/Acura), to be exact.

Thanks. I was wondering... I've heard bad things about using Dawn as a wax stripper. With the Z-PC, can I just start using it? Zaino claims that it will "break down" the existing wax on the paint.

Hmm I knew I should've picked up the ZFX too! Oh well, next time I'll know better. Thanks. Is the ZAIO really necessary? Maybe for a car that doesn't require ZPC?? Wait, ALL cars have slight swirls :sadpace:

This is how my car sits after some Z5 and Z6.
