Hi all-

Wow! It has been a long while since I posted here....Well, I was wondering if anyone really has been impressed by Menzerna? I was thinking about getting it to use on my vehicle, but have since been swayed away from it a little bit. In addition, I have considered getting Meg's DACP. However, is DACP too harsh? I have a 5 year old red car, and use SMR or FI-II on it when I need to. I just want to make sure I won't be doing more harm then good with the DACP. Any opinions or suggestions would be great! Also, I guess I should ask, how safe is Menzerna, meaning as safe as SMR or no. 9?

Thanks,

Brett

DACP (#83) is a medium cut abrasive. When I use it, I get alot of small marks which look like eyelashes. I halfto go over the car with #9 and wax to get a perfect finish.

If you can get everything out with #9 then DACP is not needed.

Like Samiam said, DACP is a medium grade paint cleaner, but if you work it until it is nearly clear and dry, it smooths the paint as well as a swirl remover. The key is working it until it is nearly clear and dry which completely break down the abrasives.

Use a swirl remover first though. Always look for the least aggresive solution.
