Questions about posting pictures.

I am trying to upload pictures in this section. By no means am I an idiot. At least I do not think so. I am using photobucket to upload my images. But for some reason i can only upload one image when I hit post. ***!!! What am i doing wrong? I know this is vague, I know I am or at least I am doing this right. I mean, because it only worked for one image. I have even tried to upload them at 600x800. I do not know if it is my network or what. I have I believe it is a T1 line. I am trying to do this from work. Hehe.

I get a error when i try and post more than one image when I hit post. I can do thumbnails fine, but that is not what i am looking for. Attached is the error I am getting.

I dunno, I was having problems posting a pic of mine last night from the Autopia gallery, I was only able to get a thumbnail. I'm not sure if that had to do with the particular thread (perhaps some glitch or option selected by the OP) or whether this has something to do with the recent minor forum format changes...although no one else seemed to be having a problem :nixweiss
 
Ya, I have been trying to upload pictures for two days now with no success. I even tried Imageshack as well as photobucket. With both i get the same error.

Are you trying to upload a picture to your gallery or just trying to post a picture to your post?

the first was linked from my gallery which I just uploaded the picture to. The second was linked from imageshack.



and this was linked from my gallery also with the appropriate symbols to display a picture:

you can upload them to your gallery then right click on the picture and copy the properties. You can then past that in the context of your post. If you just want a link to the picture then just paste the link to the property. If you want to display the picture then use



again with no spaces after the link.



Your picture should then display. By doing it from your gallery it will be a permanent picture or link where as imageshack or photobucket will only be temporary.
 
okay, I will try that, thanks. For some reason, when I tried to display my picture, it will not work. I do not understand, I will just try to wait maybe till tomorrow and try it again. But thatnks for the information. I tried it tha exact way you suggested, with no spaces.

are you posting this
in back of the link with no spaces inbetween? It should work if you are
 
That is exactly what I am doing. I am positive. like I mentioned above, I can post/display one picture, but when i try to do more that one I get that message. But I have even uploaded my images at 800x600. So I can't understand why this is happening. Here i will do one.

But I can only do one at a time, then post it. Do I need to make them smaller you think. And yes, I missed the tire well, but I took care of it.

are you putting them on seperate lines with it double spaced inbetween?

From what I have seen, I can put images that are 1240x? And I have all of them at 600x800. But I will check again, Thanks.
 
I think i figured it out. I know this is wierd but for some reason, my text i had at the begining of the post made it not post. I also noticed that under the "Miscellaneous Options", the" Automatically parse links in text" was checked. I unchecked it, and it worked. Does anyone else have or have had this problem. I do not know if it matters that i am on a Mac or not either. But thanks for eveyone help.

My post has a subject of" 2001 A4 First Detail.I mean the car"
