Questions about PC and PC Pads.

After washing them in warm running water and dawn, spin drying them. Is it okay for me to use the same pad with a different polisher or paint cleaner, eventhough I used a Meguiar's Cleaner/Wax with it. Also does anybody have any tips on which speed to use on Paint Cleaner, or Polish or Sealant or Wax? The numbers on the Dial do they represent 1,000 RPM or what?
 
I tend to use the same product with the same pad, but only because I mostly use the same products for each vehicle.



As long as its well washed out, i dont see it causing any harm at all.



As for speeds .. i tend to run the PC around 4-5 for compounds and slower for glazes as theyre thinner and sling about more.



the dial numbers (I think) represent orbits per min x1000 but I'm not sure.
 
Cool thanks, so faster for compounds and slower for glazes. Hmm and I guess Polish is inbetween?
 
I've heard benchmarks that go 4.5-6 for abrasives (compounds and polishes) and 2-3 for glazes and waxes. It seems to work pretty well for me... :nixweiss
