Questions about cleaning Jeep interior

I have a '95 Jeep Cherokee and have some questions about cleaning the interior. The ceiling upholstry is very dirty (previous owner smoked) and causes the inside to smell musty when it has been closed up for awhile. What would be the best method/products to clean this and remove the odor?
