questions about blackfire wet diamond

not really ... most products are compatible and few here use a entire line for each detailing effort

KSG is a sealant and BFWD is a sealant

Thanks - I'm always confused by a MFG that calls thier product a "Sealant Glaze Car Wax" and sInce most MFG don't really provide much detail about thier formulations, it's hard to know.

In all due respect my experience about cross-product compatibility must be different and that's why I consider it a gamble - but as my signature attests it's all about experimentation.

its my first time using BFWD. Is it normal that the product has consistency of water?

I'd say it had a bit more consistency than water..at least that was how mine appeared as well. I actually think my M205 was more fluid than the BFWD and so I've been wondering if that was correct. In any event, I got the results I was looking for.

NO! Shake it up!! It's an oil in water emulsion and needs to be shaken really well. Mine was much thicker than water.

My photos.. The pics don't do justice to the results.

wash, clay, IPA, M205, IPA, BF Polish, BFWD 1x...

BF Gloss Enhancing Polish followed by BF All Finish Paint Protection. Will try the BF midnight Sun Carnauba this week. What stands out most to my eye is the metallic flake is now far more noticeable now.

It does seem to hold dust more than others I've used, Zaino, Zymol and Klasse. But if you use the BF carnauba wax on top of the "All Finish Paint Protection" it seems not to have any dust issue.

Great sealant...but has anyone else noticed it's a dust magnet?

Same with HD Poxy...

I wouldn't call it a dust magnet, but yes, I do definitely think that it attracts dust more than just about any sealant that I have used (and I've used a lot of them).

[attachment=9837:15695.attach]Interesting difference in experience. It has been over a week since I've applied the sealant and the car has remained cleaner than ever. It is dust free. ...strange.

What I have noticed about BFWD is that the car tends to stay cleaner even after rain. On my wife's car, minor rains do not make the car look dirty anymore. I could not be happier. I am still waiting to put it on my car.
