Question on Prima Products..

I'm interested in trying some of their stuff. Especially Hydro/Banana Gloss on my black daily driver.

In terms of their polishes, is finish really necessary after swirl, or just a nice add on?

Thanks for any help on their products.

I've always preferred slower speeds with the rotary so I will normally be buffing in the 900 to 1200 RPM range. It does depend on the paint and what pad I'm using as well where I might go to 1500 RPM with a more aggressive pad if I need to do a lot of cutting and already feel comfortable with how the paint responds.

I don't use much Finish. Just Swirl with a Yellow, Orange, or White pad and Amigo with a White or Black pad. I find this combo works for just about everything!

Richard

Hope that helps. Richard uses his rotary to do things so yeah, I think that combo would be fine. I picked up a bottle of Finish myself and used it the other day with my rotary and it worked pretty well.

Its completely up to you, I like having dedicated polish/finishers :)

EDIT: You will love BG :xyxthumbs

Swirl works great can be used with Orange pad (if need aggressive) and finished with a white pad. I still like to go over with a black pad and Finish.
