Does anyone know if this includes the 6" counterweight as well as the velcro backing plate

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/t...glance&s=hi

I was thinking of buying this one from amazon with a 30 dollar coupon for using amazon card, which comes out to 112 with free shipping. The other one is the porter cable 7336sp at Lowe's for $117 including tax which i bought already but thinking of getting the amazon one instead since it comes with a case. Which one would you guys think is the better deal. From the information i gathered, it looks like the amazon deal has the counterweight/velcro plate but doesn't have the white foam polishing pad that the 7336sp has, while the 7336sp does not have the velcro backing plate. Can anyone concur with me on this? I would rather get the amazon one since i would need to buy more pads anyways.

I think Nick (Detailer's Paradise) has the best all-round bundle deal going right now. Keep in mind, the purchase of the machine is only the beginning! :p

Yes, it does. coastaltool.com has the skinny on all the various PC model numbers, and what is included with each.

Hey Acura,

Yea, im trying to find the best deal and the amazon one is looking pretty good. From what i been searching/reading, seems like no body likes the white foam pad that comes with the 7336sp and says its bad quality. I think the 97366 has the most for the buck with that 30 dollar coupon. So, it sounds like the PC 97366 has everything i need including the CW/velcro backing plate(the plate for easy interchangabilty, and all i would need is to buy the corresponding pads to do the job. I was wondering why you are interested in the 97355 one when the 97366 has the 6" plate that you been asking about?

From what I have read, some people seem to prefer the 5" backing plate opposed to the six inch because it provides a little more safety around the pad. I would assume most people use in with a 6" counterweight to avoid uneccesary vibrations.

Plus the the 97335 is a little cheaper and I can purchase the 6" backing plate with it for 120

Contour plates are "softer and thicker." Don't really see an advantage when using a foam "polishing" pad.
