QUESTION ON LONGEVITY / wax-sealent

I would like to know what I should use to keep my new black vehicle sparkling when it gets a bath every other day.I have no problem with a wax or other product application 1-2 times per week to keep up the shine.Should I use a wax product or a glaze with a wax topper??

And also is it true that after a while you can have to many layers of wax on a vehicle?I have no problem with applications,I just need to know what products will give me the best results"SHINE WISE-AND LONG LAST" when I wash several times per week.:thanks

I'm sorta confused when you say you want "long lasting" if you'll wax 1-2 times a week.

That said, you need to be a little more specific about what you want as far as looks as well. "warm glow" "dripping wet" etc.

YOu may want to look in the individual sponser forums, as some people post pics there as well as in the detailing showcase.

Just remember black is not a hobby, it's a career.

I'd have to agree here :hmmm: if you wash and wax that often it really won't matter what you use :inspector:
no if you want a certain look then your choices are endless :rockon

personally if you are definitely going to wash that often, then I'd just use a glaze and QD and apply as needed ... :hotrod2:

X2....

I QD my Daily driver almost every day. I polish it once in the spring and once in the fall with an "All-In-One" product. (Meaning cleaner, polish, and sealant all in one product).

Then I start my QD procedure again...

I do this for 3 reasons.
1. I love cleaning my cars
2. I hate having a dirty car
3. It's a nice 20 minute workout and I don't want to get on the treadmill! :lmfao

You are right on, as I am taking on a job that will never go away! Black paint is the worst it shows everything, but looks great when its clean"4-5 minutes after a detail" Let me re ask the question, what will give me the best results and good shine depth? Time is somewhat of a factor being the vehicle is a full size suv.A wipe on wipe off product 1-2 times a week for matiance and a 1-2 hour detail outside every 7-10 days. Not trying to sound crazy but black brings this to the table.

A nice wet glass shine is the ultimate goal but I know that this is hard to have in a many wash per week daily driver.I am also out of the loop product wise being from the old yellow wax school for everything.

If the cars in good shape then my regimine would be:

Seal if you like sealer with PB Pws
Wax with Natty's blue x2
Wax with natty's red x 2

This will last a few months, with washes and a QD.

The blue will give you warmth, red will give you the wet ice cube look of wetness and shine.

I love to play with my waxes so keep that in mind.

If it's in tougher shape then I'd do PB black hole and then blue and red waxes.

Enjoy and post pics for us to see.

All 4 steps are 100% the way I feel. What all in one product do you use spring and fall, and if I use this more than that will it just add to the shine.:bigups

Personally, I use Zaino AIO spring & fall.

QD with Z6 or PBS&G daily.

Wash with QEW or PBS&W as needed for winter driving.

But I wouldn't recommend QD'ing daily on a black vehicle. My daily driver is a light bronze color and it's hard to find swirls even if they are present, just because of the color...

Black's a different animal. Had many. No more! :lmfao
