Question from a newbie.... Griot's???

Charles, who has been a member here longer than you:hmmm:
Still posting at times, I think it would only be Dwayne.
My registration was number 8 at the time, but some no longer post.
Jeff Bruce, Blinded, Black Acura, TascarTim are some that I can think of.
I think Dwayne set the site up August 3rd, 2002. I joined August 10th, 2002.

I don't think that anyone here is saying that there products are not good, you may have missed the point...this site has sponsors that pay to have their product lines advertised here...I am more than sure they have a great line...as I stated looking at the pricing I think its sort of hype in some cases...kind of like the paste wax that sells for 2K

I must've missed some point, cuz the OP just asked for opinions on Griot's products and I threw in my 2 bits. I thought that was the purpose of a forum.

Gonna throw in my 2 bits worth as well. :)
Your reply was just what a forum needs to be successful. :bigups
It did seem to be taken a little differently by some people than I interpreted it, but keep in mind that we often take things in different ways. That happens even more so when it is an issue that we feel strongly about.

One thing that has nothing to do with the subject of the thread. It's possible that your avatar might give the impression of looking for trouble. :D
I think you and Jared Pointer have to have the ugliest avatars on DC. You two make Rabbi's Whaler look good. :yikes:

Funny you say that because "Ugly" is my middle name! But seriously I just want to bring a little sense of humor like those other two guys you mentioned. (I'm not really going to kill anyone!) :crazy2:

Too bad we don't have a system to alerts us with red flags "SHILL ALERT" so it's possible that sometimes we may confuse a person with an honest question about a non sponsored manufacturer's product as shill, but so what's the big deal ? if the OP hang around he'll find this place to be a very kind and gentle place ,full of information, and great members.

like I pointed out in another thread, some new members are just curious, and the ones new to detailing don't even know what to ask...if they are a shill, they will be found out soon enough.
The thing is some people are shy to posting in the first place and they may have second thoughts about posting again if they feel like they are getting attacked.

Now for the OP:
If you do a search on Groit's you'll find a number of posts. It doesn't get too much mention here, but if you want to try and let us know what you think that would be great too
