I recently pruchased a PC7336 from Lowes. Used it for the first time this weekend and did not get the rsults I was hoping for. Which brings me to my question... It seems that the "head" is not rotating at all, just vibrating. I used a tip from someone to draw a little dot on one of my pads and see when it stops rotating, when it stops you are applying to much pressure.

Well I apply not pressure at all and just let the machines weight on the pad and it stops rotating. If I left up a little it then begins to rotate.

Am I doing something wrong here? I am using the edge 2000 pad kit with the quick connect adapter. Any help is greatly appreciated.
 
Ty, sir. Just must have been technique. I couldnt even get minor swirls out using ssr2.5 with cutting pad. Any tips?
 
Yup read that thread and remember practice makes perfect. With the cutting pad and SSR2.5 you may be adding more swirls in because of the cut of the pad insead of taking them out. Plus the proper technique of the PC will allow the polish to work to it's fullest potential. It also takes time to let the polish breakdown, maybe 2-3 minutes per panel.
