question about final topcoat of wax

ok, heres what i have on my car now:

a layer of all in one

1 layer of meg's tech wax

tomorrow i'm going to put on another layer of tech wax. then i want to put a carnuba wax on top of that. what can i use?

i want to top it with a carnuba wax because the tech wax hides swirls really well, i'm guessing a carnuba will help those fillers stay in place and hide the swirls.

i have some turtlewax ultra gloss paste...is that ok to use as a final carnuba topper?

if not, what can i pick up at autozone that will do the trick.

thanks guys

p.s.- does anyone else just want to take a big bite out of the megs tech wax can? it smells so good!

You can use any wax without cleaners to top NXT. I'm not too familiar with OTC waxes anymore.

BTW NXT has light cleaners, so getting more than one layer of it is not likely.

The one time I used NXT I also topped it with P21s and IMO it looked pretty good. Nice shine but not as deep a look as I was hoping for

I not 100% sure of this, but I think that the Turttle wax you have has cleaners in it that will remove your NXT. Since your requirement is something you can buy at Pepboys/Autozone I would suggest Meg #26, Mothers Top Coat, or Mother California Gold Pure wax. All of thoes don't have cleaners. #26 works best on dark colors. Top Coat is nice on all colors, but it is a partial synthetic. Cal Gold is probably better on lighter colors.
