Question about Anti-rust grease on my car

Hi there, i have a question about the anti-rust product i have on my car. Last year, i sent my car to put a product to not have rust on my car.

I live in Canada so almost all of the cars here need this treatement... if you dont do it, your car will start to rust after 5 years...


Which product do you recommand me to remove this stuff?

Because, when i wash my car, the soap isnt enough strong to remove this.

I hihghly recommend PB's APC. My vw had cosmolene oozing out of the doors for years in the warmer months. PB's APC easily got rid of it.

From the picture that looks like a typical under body type undercoat. We used to undercoat a lot of cars with these type of products. I have no idea why you have over spray in the areas you show in the picture. Obviously the technician wasn't taking care of you. This was considered an under body only type product. We would typically drop a plastic sheet drape around the outer periphery of the vehicle before we would shoot it. This type of product went "out of style" because it would tend to trap moisture under should there be any opening to get in. It was a petroleum based product. It can be removed with most solvents that work on petroleum oils. Gasoline will remove it as easily as anything though you don't want the gas to sit on you finish for any length of time. There are many products that fit this bill, acetone or Safety Clean shop solvent for instance. I have seen worse. I know of one customer that wanted his exhaust coated in order to stop it from rusting out. As I said this is petroleum based and it will burn. It cost the shop the price of a replacement car.

:dcrules A good apc,brush,hose and elbow grease will take care of that under hood issue,as far as that rust spot on bottom of door,If you can find a wax to get read of rust? I will be your financal backer and we will both live on private island.:rofl:rofl :dcrules
