QID or FK425 advice needed for order

I have had and use FK425 , but was thinking of trying QID from Optimum .

So my question is what will QID give me that FK425 won't ? The vehicle is black 2011 GMC.

I'm a skeptic with Optimum stuff but trying again.

OID looks much better on darks than FK425. IMO FK425 is just too bright on dark blue/black. OID is also much slicker when applying/removing.

Some people get streaking, and I'm guessing they are using too much or keep QDing without any washes in between, but you can always cut it with more water. It is very concentrated.

You need to make sure its distilled water with OID and you should have no problems. OID will be slicker as a clay lube, but I tend to go through gallons of 425 because its slick as a lube, but allows a certain "feel" that super ridiculously slick clay lubes getaway from. I do like OID after washes as it does give more relatively substantial protection(from a QD anyway) than 425 which is only a light glossing QD

for black or similarly dark color i would probably use oid. i have and use both just depends on the color of the car and lsp used. i also have a couple other qds.

i like oid because of the slickness, leaves a great amt of gloss. i use it to dry my car after washing and it's so economical.
