03COBRA
I miss my 03 Cobra......
Well here in Norther California lately is has been extremely wet and cold. It's been really hard to get anything done as far as washing cars, or keeping them clean. So today I decided to bring my GF's truck in the garage to do my 2nd QEW wash ever. The first time I did it outside but I really didn't try and do it correct, I was careful, but not worried. I was doing a full detal on my uncles car anyways. So today, I grabbed to buckets of warm water, which is very nice on the cold days. Added the correct amount of QEW in the bucket, and went to town. I was very impressed with how well it worked, and how little mess it makes. I was worried about almost flooding the garage. But I have a web page saved from a guy that used with very good success. I will post the link at the bottom. I did use the spray bottle method, I would spray 2-3 panels at a time. I would wash one panelt at a time then dry, however I used 2 giant Pakshak WW towels for drying. Then I used a Pakshak Yellow Ultra-Fine (Yellow 16x24) and Adam's Detail spray after the wash. I am overall very impressed with the QEW, I may just do this more often! http://www.taurusclub.com/modules.php?name=News&file=print&sid=117

And now, I finally got the S-10 into winter trim. Nothing else would stay on the paint, so I tried using Zaino. It doesn't appear to be working wither. My GF parks under a tree at her house, and everytime it rains, it strips the protection right off. Anyways, here are some pics. By the way, with the Paste Glaz on, the truck has never looked better. When the sun comes out I plan on UPP/Paste Glaz combo. And I picked up 3 jars of Paste Glaz for $50. Lucky Me!!
Process:
--Qew Wash
--Meguiar's #80 Via PC and LC 7.5" Concaved polishing Pad on 6
--Zaino Z2 x2 By Hand w/Pakshak Yellow Foam Applicator (2 Weeks ago)
--Pinnacle Paste Glaz By Hand w/Pakshak Yellow Foam Applicator
--Sealed Glass w/Rain-X
--BnB on Tires
