QD residue in scratches

Newbie is total understatement but hopefully I will be a quick study.

Just bought a black 2001 Audi. When I QD it fills the scratches in with a nice white residue. What is the best way to remove and replace with something that doesn't highlight the scratches?

There's really no need to post the same question twice. :dunno Anyways....same answer as before....Polish to remove the scratches if they aren't that bad. Change QD's to one that doesn't leave behind a white residue. Sounds more like you're using a spray wax.

My thought as well. My experience finds a QD helps remove any remaining polish/wax residue.
