QD + protecting capibilities

Steve,

Yesterday I started to do the spring clean up on the mustang and I thought I had the energy to do it after Doing the spring clean up around the house on saturday!

I Clayed and made 1 pass with SSR 2.5 and at that point determined that If I had to pick up my PC again I might colapse! The car deffinatly needs 1 more pass with SSR2.5 to remove the rest of the swirl marks that are left...So instead of just leaving the car un-protected I put a coat of QD+ on it!

Is that going to keep me protected for a few days?

PS the car does look great with just a pass of QD+

Oh it will last quite a while ;) I'd say you'll have atleast a month or so of protection ...

I've also recently been trying out the new VOC compliant version with a PC and a polishing pad with some great results:)

I would say you're fine for a few days. There is carnauba in QD+. After applying it, I got beading (I know-not nec. an indicator of protection) for over 2 weeks on a car with "flatlined" wax.

Good deal ... Also at this point I shouldn't have a problem with going back and doing a quick S&W of the car and going back to my swirl removal!

I ran out of SSR1 and I love the look that wet look that SSR1 gives the car! GOOD thing my auto geek order will be here today!
