QD on new paint?

I got my car back from the body shop not too long ago. The body shop manager told me that he could tell I am a meticulous owner, and he could tell that I take care of my car. Then he told me, "but you can't wax it for 90 days", which I remembered from reading here.



But can I use QD?



(plus I also harvested the last two tins of collinite 476s from Harbor Freight, so I'm really itching to do a full detail and try it out - time isn't passing fast enough!):nervous2:
 
Might not be able to wax it but you should have zero issues glazing it. Not sure if QD contains actual wax or not... Never read the label for that LOL..
 
hmmm.... I do have a bottle of HG - I may be able to get my 'detailing fix' just yet. I have some meguiar's QD, I'll check the label.
