QD after S&W?

During the winter here in NC, it gets fairly cold and makes it uncomfortable to wash my car. I usually fill up the bucket with warm water, but if theres an easier way to clean my car then with water at all, then all the better.

I have read ravving reviews of Poorboys Spray N Wipe and decided I want to purchase it this week. My questions are:

1. Will this be suffice to wash my car, instead of pulling out the bucket as long as my car isnt TOO dirty?

2. I know it has no gloss enhancers, so would it be best to use a QD after each S&W cleaning? If so what is the best QD to use afterwards? Since Im ordering Poorboys S&W should I go ahead and order their version of QD?

I know about QEW, but I think id rather use Poorboys S&W.

If mud is caked on, use QEW. Spray and Wipe will just take a while to work and I think you'll be wasting product.

Spray and Wipe actually looks pretty good itself, or at least I thougth so. I found it easier to mix Spray and Wipe with Showtime. That cut down me going over the car twice.

I thought about mixing together Spray and Wipe with a QD but it almost seems as if that would dilute it too much so that the cleaners in the S&W wouldnt break down the dirt like it should.

What was the ratio?

I rarely let mud get caked on my car (actually I never let it). When I wash my car it never is because its extremely dirty, as it usually just has some dust and some dirt.

I would agree.............. don't dilute the S & W. Use it full strength on a dusty/lightly dirty vehicle. If the vehicle is really dirty/muddy.......... wash it first.

Even if I'm just using S & W to clean off dust, I usually go over the vehicle after the S & W with another high quality QD that has some additional "POP"!

well sean (gsrstilez) uses just S and W and his car looks fantastic. i would go ahead and say that S and W should be fine. if not, then try adding something afterward. you wn't know unless you try:)

When I diluted it, it was because my car had very little dust on it, that's all I was cleaning. As said before, it leaves a pretty good shine by itself.

If you're using it to clean a lot of dirt, leave it full stength. When you dilute it I'm pretty sure you're weakening the lubricating ability of the product and will cause scratches and/or marring.

It's a great product, just experiment with a few different combos and see what works best for you. Btw, I mixed in showtime or final inspection with about a 4:1 ratio and liked the results (1 oz of the qd to the 4-5 oz of the s&w).
