More info on Polish w/ Sealant (PwS)
This was the info posted on Friday....
  • it can be used with a pc
  • it can be used with a rotary
  • it can be used by hand
  • it does not dust at all
  • it is pad dependent (will do different jobs depending on the pad)
  • it will remove oxidation
  • it will remove swirls
  • it will remove light/ medium scratches
  • it will leave a clean finish
  • it will leave a shiny surface
  • it will leave a slick finish
  • it can be topped if desired by either sealants or waxes
  • it can be used as a stand alone product for Pro detailers who need a one step product !!
Yesterday I did some more testing on my truck. After claying, I purposely induced holograms on my hood with a rotary and a wool pad, they were removed using the PwS and an orange Lake Country pad that was primed with only PwS, with a speed of 5-6, after spreading at 1-2. It took one pass to remove all the holograms and two to eliminate 95+% of all the swirls and light scratches. I let the remaining product haze and then it wiped off without any effort at all with a mega-plush towel.
On the driver side I used an orange pad(speed of 5-6) and tried dampening the pad first with Spray & Gloss. This I find not advisable, even though it seemed to let the product go further, it also made it a bit harder to remove. Slickness and shine seemed the same as the hood.
On the passenger side, after claying, I used only a white polishing pad with the PwS, after priming the pad with just PwS, and it also removed the swirls, light scratches, but came off much easier than the dampened pad.
The shine, slickness and clarity on all the panels was quite impressive considering only an hour and a half was spent doing the sides and the hood of a large truck. Here's a few pictures:

As long as supplies last... a FREE 16oz bottle of PwS will be included with any order of $45 or more(shipping not included)There are no codes to put in, no calls or pm's needed either, they will automatically be added to your order while supplies last. :2santa

I am anxiously awaiting my package of MF towels with this product in it. I have a tonneau cover that I will test it out on. With no dusting it may become my new one step. Will report my findings after a few hours of polishing with it using different pads.

Just dropped an order specifically to try it out.

Same here... can't wait to test it out. I liked version #1 but it didn't have any correction ability which wasn't completly a 'one step product'. It did do a good job at cleaning the paint and cleaning up the oxidation on my Jeeps hard top. We'll have to see how the new version compares!

From the pictures it looks like PwS is heading in the right direction :smile.

This Version is defintely an improvement on both previously released samples and we hope to have a lot of people try it out before the release of the final version.

Also a note to those who receive this 16oz bottle:

The scent, color and label are all temporary ...we wanted to make it a working example of what the final version will be , but at the same time be totally different so that there would be no mistaking the differences between the two. :)

I just re-read this whole thread. You are a good man, Steve of Poorboy's!! You did not even mention to me that what I ordered did not qualify me for the samples that you offered. Yet, never the less, I recieved the sample pack. I am embarrassed and beholden. Thanks for going the extra mile for this, more than obtuse, dirt head.

but you are very welcome anyhow..my friend

I already have at least 1 container of all the products necessary for the sample and to be honest I can't hanlde any more lsp's right now... so no order for me.

Do you have an estimate of when this will be brought to market (other than just samples)? I think I might like this better than the other product recently introduced.... from another company.

Me too!! :) I needed some more EX-P so bingo bango. Looking forward to trying out the Pws.

Yup I picked up some EX-P, clay and a few other goodies...
Ordered Monday afternoon, shipped Tuesday, recieved today (Wednesday) :)

Ordered more Natty's because I HAVE TO try this PWS. I'll be happy to give you my semi-pro opinion on the product and an application play by play.

Any car/color in particular you'd like to see it tried on? I have a 2004 white Vette and a 1994 Chameleon Blue Mazda RX-7 that I'm going to be detailing next week.

Thanks Poor Boys!

I'll probably change the product to order next week, so if you are interested just keep tuned in ;) I'm hoping to have this in its final form by January :)

LOL ..I don't think your last order even arrived yet :)

As per color...I've seen it on White and Green so far ...the Blue Mazda sounds like a winner :bigups

Hey Steve,

Just got my bottle, thanks.

Im planning on using PwS Sat on an SUV for winter prep. Would it be best to top with EX-P to get more longevity for the winter?

Thanks, it is an awesome gesture to send out the samples.

Thanks...sure EX-P would be great on top of it and you would also not lose any clarity as the PwS does leave a very bright and clear shine...

Too bad it's going to be about 40 degrees on Sat. after the beautiful week we just had in the 50's and 60's :)
