Nice save, you always do great work. Still bothers me that you can do all that with a PC. Outstanding job. :2thumbs:

Thanks Sludge. I guess its about 10 cars now that I have polished with the KBM.

Thank you jucaraman. 60% old and 40% new to prime the pad with then use the old when applying some to the pad. If its not enough cut, then increase the % of the old. The new allow's easy wipe off of the polish residue IMO.

Nice save Bryan. I just have to laugh (again) seeing those before photos. When dealers and other detailing hacks inflict that kind of damage, yet see it as acceptable...I become speechless.

It's a good thing the owner of the car got together with you to bring it back to like-new condition!

Awesome save Bryan! I really think you should remove the Carmax plate and put on a Peachstate Detail plate in this pic though! :D

Awesome job!! How was the PC with the LC flat pad(6.5"?) with vibrations? Do you use the 6" CW with it? I get pretty bad vibrations on mine when using anything above 5.5" (w/ 5" CW)...

Again, nice work! :goodjob

Todd, Thanks for your kind words! We are all suprised to see the level of hack that was done to this car, but it is so common.

Nice save!

Did you use the KBM/M105 on the tail lights too?

Thanks jmkiang! Yes M105 followed by M205 via KBM on the taillights.

Thank you oski83! I'm pretty sure I have the 6" CW and the vibes are there, but not something that bothers me.

expect nothing but the best from you Bryan. You don't disappoint.

Question. what would you use if KBM isn't cutting it, for a is 300 that's been through 30+ automatic car washes and deep rids. Also you should video tape yourself! It'd help me to see how much pressure and product you would use on a panel.

Thanks guys!!!

Sam, If the KBM w/ a orange pad is not cutting it, I would use the surbuf pads next. They will level the paint more, but they do leave more micromarring.

Then there is always the KBRM w/ a rotary. Presidental detail did a red Merc 320 with this method. Do a search...

Wow man what an awesome turnaround. The KBM is working wonders for you, one day I will team up with WeekendWarrior and learn it hands on for myself.

excellent turnaround, having a blue chip cts, I know how good it looks when its polished out.

those holograms were aweful!

Bryan, incredible work once again!!!

Gotta love Carmax...

It's almost hard to believe that it's the same car!!

Keep up the great work!!

looking good, thinking about a similar process for my bmw, now with the kbm do u leave the 105 on the panel and just go straight to the 205?
