Prototype Machine Polishing Testing....

I hate suspenseful threads! I have no patients! :hairpull

I cant wait!:woohoo:

Sorry, you wont' have to wait too much longer. I'll be playing with it tomorrow for at least half a day. I'm going to try to talk him in to letting me keep it for a few weeks, we'll see what happens.

Maybe a refined/upgraded version of one of the above.:2thumbs::buffing:

I'm quoting myself to clarify what I meant so there's no question.

He's not taking a pre-existing machine and upgrading it, he developed this machine on his own, it's just that it mimic's the movements of a pre-existing machine but with better/stronger, longer lasting parts and no vibrations (according to him) so that's why I say "upgraded/refined".

if thats the case with no vibrations, sign me up!

keeping an eye on this thread you should draw a pic of it after you see it no cheating there. i want to see to me sounds like a da but more powerfull possiably faster rotations an the vibration thing sounds amazing

Ok, I'll let the cat out of the bag.:secret

The machine is supposed to be another forced rotation orbital machine. Much like the Flex but with no vibration and very durable, high performance internals...

I still don't know if it will be variable speed or not (forgot to ask) but if not I'm not even going to waste my time.

I don't know that the owner has ever used it for 8 hours straight so if it's all he says it is, I would still like to see if it can withstand the testing I will put it through.:waxing::waxing::waxing::waxing:

I don't see the point of making a machine of this caliber a single speed. Im sure hoping he has thought of this.

Yea, me too. He's not a detailer or anything like that so it would not surprise me but if not I will make sure he's understands the significants of a variable speed machine.

sounds like something fun i hope its cheaper than the flex

I doubt he's even thought about pricing it out yet. Too much to consider, he's kind of on the tail end of research/development. If it was a finished product, he'd still have to dress it up, find sponsors, mass produce..... and a lot more.

did you use it yet LoL

Tomorrow I'll test it out.

Well, today is the day of testing, he was supposed to be here early but got called into his work for half a day, so I'll have to wait another hour or two.
