pros and cons of detailing conversion vans

"Luck" Residue of design
I am in the market to purchase a conversion van. I would like to hear somesome experience from some of you who have done conversion vans. Maybe in the way of suggestions of what to stay away from when shopping for one such as decals instead of painted on graffix, or how to identify problems with paint that may not yet be visable, what was a pain about detailing them etc.

I would imagine just the size of them would deter an owner from taking care of one properly. thanks for any insight you all might have to offer. TD

Size, size, and size!

Other than that I find them pretty easy to clean. Everything is pretty wide open. Most of them have carpet that is on home grade and pretty easy to clean too. The roof is a big PITA though.

I would equate it to any other type of vehicle, if you maintain it like we all do here then it won't be so bad just on a larger scale. However it is when you do one and they don't take care of it, then its like cleaning a small house.

I have a regular customer with a Chev conversion van and it's damn near total house cleaning!!! Like rasky said it's the size. I can't reach the middle of the roof even on a ladder and I use long paint sticks and broom handles to reach those spots.
