Proffesionl Chemicals

I brought a co-worker to the Rightlook clinic last year and they run a very good clinic. It will NOT immediately turn you into a professional by any means. Their clinic is one part technique, one part business management, and one part sales seminar to buy their products.

As long as you have a good head on your shoulders and know how to think for yourself, it is a great way to get into the business. I've since made great connections with some of the staff at Rightlook and they will always be more than helpful to any questions you have as you operate your business. As a distributor and education center, their service does not end there. I can call up Mel any time and ask the stupidest questions and always get a thoughtful and helpful reply.

As a matter of fact... If you're thinking of flying to San Diego for a seminar, call them up and ask for Mel. He will talk your ear off. Tell him Todd in Minneapolis sent ya. I plan on flying down there toward the end of the season for another clinic (and to just take a vacation in sunny San Diego).

Where in VA are you? If you are close to or make any trips to NC - check out Majestic Solutions in Raleigh. I've been getting my products there for a few months now and I've never been let down by them. They sell Malco and their brand which is made by CG (I think) anyway, they are good to deal with and go the extra mile for detailers. If you can visit or call and talk to them, explain your needs - they will be glad to get samples to you so you can try for yourself. Presently I use Malco Perfex as my go to compound, Polishes - Malco nano polish and MS Finish Cut, Wax/Sealant -MS's Banana Wax and Superior Paint Sealant, Trim & tires - MS Poly Pro, and Poly Plus, Cleaners - Super Green and Tidal Wave. Also, they have MF towels, brushes, interior cleaners, etc//Disclaimer - I'm not connected to them in any way nor do I get any favors and or products from them without paying for them first.

I originally mentioned 55 gallon drums just to point out that there’s a whole world of product distribution that most of the public never sees...

The big-drum option *is* worth mentioning :xyxthumbs

Meguiar's doesn't offer 55 gallon drums of #62 or #00 do they? That might almost tempt me away from my overpriced Griot's Car Wash ;)

My gripe about the stuff I've seen in large containers is that it's generally not my idea of top-shelf product (can only speak about the stuff I've seen, don't mean to over-generalize).

give these guys a call they have good stuff there called malco and the number is 18002532526 they would be happy to help you out i used to use car brite there stuff is good but you pay dearly for it call malco i wont use anything else from now on

Also does anyone know of any places or people that offer training like a clinic or something. i looked at the rightlook clinic in San Diego but i dont exactly want to waste a lot of money on a plane ticket (although i know i would learn a hell of a lot). I am looking for something a little closer to VA or on the east coast. thanks

Just a suggestion. Detail King Auto Detailing Supplies, Equipment and Business Opportunities

I stumbled into their site a few weeks ago. No clue on quality of training, but they're closer to you than the west coast.
