Products for Metallic Gray

Hi all. Gonna be picking up my new bike in a few weeks and was looking for suggestions. I already have some S-100 that I use on my other bike which is a metallic Blue that provides pretty good depth. I was wondering what would be best to get a deep wet look with the metallic gray? The bike will be showroom fresh so the paint should not be contaminated or swirled. Following are a few pics to get an idea of the color. Thanks.

2nd pic looks very nice.

I think Natty's Blue should go very nicely with that paint if you want a deep and really wet finish.

I'd use UPP or EX-P as a base as well for that little extra pop.

Agreed!!, this is the combo i used on my Crystal Grey metallic STi. and i refresh once a month with OCW

Beautiful color! You might also consider 1Z Glanz Wax (liquid polymer). It looks beautiful on light-med metallics, is SO easy to apply and lasts a long time. I've used it on met. gray a few times, and it looks rich and glossy.

I think putting some AIO on as a base for the sealant would help its durability. As MadiX said, following the AIO with a sealant such as UPP, EX-P, FMJ, etc and then topping with a good carnauba would give you great metallic pop and the wetness that your looking for. Seeing as you have S100, you don't even really need to go buy a new carnauba either because S100 is a very nice wax.

As for not having to clay/polish, I would clay the car anyways. You never know what the bike went thru before it was underneith you. As long as the dealer doesnt decide to wash it before they give it to you, should should be swirl free. I would make it clear that you don't want them to wash it for you just to be safe.

The choices of QD here are immense. I personally use Clearkote's Quikshine. It has a nice cleaning ability and leaves the paint very slick after use.

You do have gear to go with your new bike, right...?

Ya, always ride with gear. Road rash is not pretty, I would imagine a split head would not be either. No Squids Allowed! :p

Looks like there's several options. I am guessing all these products work well with hand application? I already have a PC and plan on picking up some little 3" pads for it but won't be able to get everywhere with it.
