Products at Target

I just went to Target, and I didn't see any yellow Vroom MF drying towels for 7.95. The closest thing i saw was a 3 square foot white MF in a tube for 5.95 (odd type of weave; wasn't terry) and there wasn't anything similar to your description listed (it's not like it just wasn't in stock) so I got a Meg's Waffle Weave for 6.28.

The Meg's at $6.28 seems to be a steal. I bought 2 and should have bought more. When I went back, they were gone. My wife has been in 3 Target stores this past 2 weeks and none of them had any left.
Oh well, it's about time for Dwayne to have one of his 25% off sales here shortly. :)

Those Megs waffle weaves aren't bad at all. I could do my whole car with one towel and they did not mar the paint. They did leave some lint though.

Yellow Vroom MF towel

We just came back from a super Target.
The Yellow Vroom MF towel is on a lower shelf at our store.
6.5 square feet, 23.5" x 40"
Terry weave
Fairly plush, but not nearly as plush as some of my MF towels
70% Polyester, 30% Polymide
Made in Indonesia or China (The ones at our store were made in Indonesia)
$7.99
After a quick look, it seems quite comparable to the 6.5 square foot Wal*Mart towel priced at $6.87
I have no idea how it compares in quality to other MF towels, but several people seem to be using it and be happy with it.

Went to Target and the Stoners Tarminator on clearance for $2.78, got 3 cans. Has anyone tried the Vroom MF wash mitt? It feels like it is a good quality. Any feadback as to paint safe and quality.

I bought one and it seems on par with the rectangular mitt I got from Autogeek. Take my response with a grain of salt though since I'm a noob to detailing, however I haven't seen any marring after 8 - 10 uses.

With both mitts though I cannot get used to putting my hand in them and using them as mitts. I fold over the wrist-band part on the Vroom (away from the paint obviously) and use it more like a towel with my hand on the back of it. That's one advantage of the Autogeek blue rectangle is that it doesn't have the wrist-band so it's easier to use with the hand outside.

i bought a vroom sheepskin mitt at target and will never buy one again. it was brought to my attention by a couple of fellow enthusiasts, that there were sharp black pine bristle like needles, buried inside the mitt. after feeling around VERY carefully, sure enough i found a few and i'm glad i didn't use it as it would of definitely caused some damage to the paint. i doubt that it was an isolated case, because quite a few people experienced the same incident. i won't buy another again, because i don't want to have to worry/inspect every mitt. as of now... i like the eurows that can be found for around $5 at walmart.

I ended up walking through both Target and Wal-Mart this weekend. Target is definitely no longer carrying megs accessories. There were none to be found at my Target what so ever. I didn't really see anything interesting that I needed but . . . I did see a new wash bucket from Rubbermaid that I liked. I almost bought it. It had a built in grit guard, a built in tray for holding your sponge, wheels, and a long rubber handle. However, I like to sit on my bucket (I have seat which acts as a cover as well). The seat/cover I have would never fit the new bucket as it was not a round bucket.

I bought the large 'blue' Vroom MF. I use it for drying. Works great, too! I California Water Blade first. That MF was $7.95, I think.

my wife picked up an absorber chamois for around $8.99 at a target just outside of detroit the other day.

I was at target last week and there were no megs products, only rubbermaid and vroom, today i'm going through the target sales paper and there advertising meguires interior/exterior car care kit for $24.99. have you guys found any meguires products lately at target? do they sell'em or not.

I think the reason that the prices on Meg's stuff was so low before was that they were clearing it all out. So I don't think they carry Meg's anymore.

the target by me had all vroom supplies and today's paper there now offering megs car kit, so either they restocked or found some old products they didn't know they had.soons as i get some time i wanna go and see whats up.

P.S. sherman8r44 are you gonna eat that whole donut? :hungry: :eat:
