Okay - I'm new so please bare with me.
I apply everything with a Porter Cable Random Orbit and have purchase the polishing pad system through Autopia. My final wax is Zaino.
All this being said, I recently applied 1Z Metallic Polish with the blue pad to my 2003 Jeep and was very pleased with the results. However, I think it can be better. I also have a 2002 Subaru Outback LL Bean (the wife's) which, under florescent lights, shows tiny (what I think are ) oxidation spots/dots all over the hood. This prompted me to purchase the following three products:
P21S Paintwork Cleanser
Meguiar's Medallion Premium Paint Cleaner
1Z Paint Polish
My questions are these:
(1) Is there an order to apply these three products that will give me that ultimate "wet" look?
(2) Are the three products I recently purchased the same thing (did I buy three products that do essentially the same thing)?
(3) Can they all be applied using the Porter Cable (as opposed to hand)? For those familiar wit the foam padsâ€Â¦aggressive cutting or the fine pad?
Obviously I'm new to the "serious" detailing process so I greatly appreciate any information you all can provide and expertise offer.
