Product to clean WAX/COMPOUND off textured plastic trim?

For plastic trim, I've had decent luck w/ simple green on a terry towel. Not so good on weathered black rubber trim, though.

As previously stated, this is why we tape.

So i just finished compounding, jetseal109ing, and waxing. I now have perfect paint, but the black textured plastic around my door handles and tailgate cap have white wax/compound on them. I tried soap and water and had little success. This stuff is really stuck on! Is there any product that removes this residue?

Different plastics (and the products you can stain them with) behave differently, but the black plastic on most of my vehicles responds well to the Klasse twins- AIO to clean/prep and KSG to protect.

On the '00 Blazer (and the minimal black plastic trim on the Denali), I got good results with 1Z brand (consumer line) polishes topped with Collinite 845.

There are "wax residue remover" products available from Griot's and others too (haven't tried my GR-40 yet).
