product reviews lacking

Why is the "Review" section void of so many good products? This could really be a valuable resource if it had more/better products reviewed. I tried suggesting a new product (Power Gloss) but nothing has happened :think:
 
It needs to be added for review, along with about 30 other products frequently discussed on this board. Then, this section (review) would be a much more useful resource. FWIW.
 
I also suggested a couple of products, but nothing happened.



It is a very under-utilised (and possibly under-monitored) tool.
 
Yeah. I had requested a few products be added to list as well, but none of them appeared.
 
Same here, There are whole lines of products missing. I have tried to input some new products but nothing happened. Also some of newer products that have been added to old lines have not appeared.
 
It's not like 1,2,3 and products can be added. IIRC, it took some time and effort last time the Reviews sections was updated. My guess is that it will expand again with a new forum software upgrade.

So then what is the point of having an "add a product" button if a software update is required?
 
Well, in the spirit of this particular time of year and being grateful for the forum in general ( which is free, in case we forgot),I'm not going to get in a debate over this. By all means, bug David about it and eventually he'll make it right.
 
Bill, thanks for the clarification. Actually, I thought I was doing something wrong and thus not requesting/adding the items properly. I imagine the programing associated with this is time consuming...

As a Padawan, I would appreciate some effort to expand the review section. The section's current state is pretty pathetic. If no one wants to maintain (from time to time) the review section, they should just delete it.

I get the feeling that if improvement is made, which is in the works, lest we all forget , there's always going to be something to complain about. The point of this thread has been made and it's clear not all people can be pleased all of the time. Given that, thread closed.
