Product Review: Lake Country 'Gold' Foam pads

Interesting considering that the 'black' 3M and the ultrafina blue 3M pads use identical foam, which is also the same (but cheaper) the LC's gray foam. To me (and by logic) the gold pad is a much softer pad.

Sometimes softness isn't the only factor. Pore size also plays a role. The smaller the pore (100PPI is the smallest that I know of) the better the pad will finish.

Hey! don't forget about me here guys!!! I am curious to see what pad partnering you guys would suggest with the Makita rotary... As I continue to increase my knowledge in what I can perform, I would like to see what you fellow Autopians feel suit your needs that best concerning pads on the Makita. Thx! I use the Edge pads on my dewalt currenly, but I feel that suggestions would help me with the makita.

Maybe LC will start offering that foam in a hand applicator.

They already do at ProperAuto, 4" round CCS apps, Oval CCS apps, and Finger Pocket Apps. IIRC 2/$5.
