Product packaging

Oh man don't tell me I just ordered some bad bottles. I bet I can just clean the tops if they get crusty.

Men look like "bored, purse holders" in crafts stores?????

Norah, let me interpret the look ..... it's more like "Aw, man. There's football on the tube, all day long. I mean ALL DAY LONG!!!! Violence, beer, cheerleaders, snacks, great commercials, cheerleaders, more snacks.

Did I mention there are cheerleaders?

Honey, do you think these doilies look good with these dried flowers? Doesn't this doll look so-o-o cute? I love the smell of these candles, which one do you like?

Death ..... where is thy sting".

NYV6 - Sometimes WalMart has a 4 pack of "travel bottles" by Goody, those are OK, but I avoid the clear flip-tops due to the squeezing / cracking issue.
Our Wal*Mart has the Goody brand, but they no longer have them in the 4 pack. They are now sold individually @ $.50 each. The 4 pack was $1.50 so the price difference is not much.
They have worked good for me for quite some time. Probably over a year now and no breakage or leaking problems. I happen to use a carpenters nail apron when detailing, the bottles fit the pockets, don't fall out, and don't leak. With the flip top lid, I can hold the PC in one hand, get the bottle from the pocket, open the bottle, apply the product to the pad, close the bottle, and return it to the pocket with the other hand. Works for me.

I checked Wal-Mart again & found the flip-top containers that Charles & Norah were recommending. I found them in the crafts dept. & they're not the same as the containers in cosmetics.

I found AIO & SG much easier to use with these smaller, more manageable containers but, as of today, I'm still liking FTG & FMJ more.

Appearance, slickness, easy on/easy off, all favor Menzerna right now but with winter approaching durability will be the final determining factor.

The FMG vs UPP vs EX-P vs SG test is on.

I'm gonna say UPP for Slickness. FMJ for deep look. EX-P For metallics + light colors. and SG.... I dunno haven't tried :D

I've got a FMJ vs UPP vs EX-P vs LS test going on now. I also have a TS vs PS vs Natty's vs S100 test, and a LS vs PS test too. :D :crazy

By the way, the Menzerna bottle spouts can dispense nice tight beads of product. However, I didn't really like the way the bottles fit in my hand. I couldn't find a comfortable way to hold them. They actually remind me of the Klasse bottles in shape and size, but without the loop handle. I can stick one finger into the Klasse handle to help me hold onto the bottle. No such luck with the Menzerna. Guess I'll be transferring the products into generic round bottles.

I don't have any problem with the Menzerna containers, probably 'cause my hands are bigger.

The Klasse containers are just too flimsy on the larger labelled sides & they collapse when squeezed as you'd anticipate. The Menzerna containers have more "oompf" to them & I can dispense product when I want, where I want, and in the appropraite quantity with the nifty spouts.

I had an AIO geyser of over 12" high shooting out of that thing & it could have gone in my eyes. I didn't know that AIO was so thin & the container was definitely topped-off.

Now my workbench is adequately protected for the winter, let's see how AIO does on wood.

What, there's a product you haven't tried?! Gee, I just got an email from Autogeek about a 15% off sale for surviving another hurricane... :lmfao j/k...Norah always pics on you, I couldn't resist.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I'm not having any problem with the Klasse twins. I don't think I sqweeze it. I just turn it upside down on my blue MF applicator and stroke across it leaving about a two inch line of product.

The ones I don't like are those flip-top lids. Not the flip-spout. I aways get too much product from them.

I doubt I will try Sealant Glaze unless I get it for a trade. Seems to much trouble just to apply it and layer. FMJ... well I could run over to Groebuck and grab his extra kit :D

Yes yes Norah :nono :rofl

NYV6Coupe - You're right. I have very small hands, so the Menzerna bottles seem bulky and awkward to me. I do like the long and tapered spouts though.

Woob - I just traded away the majority of my SG. That's why I didn't include it in the sealant comparison test. I only saved a little sample sized bottle of SG to use on my wheels.

I'm not having a problem anymore for two reasons: first, now I know how thin AIO & SG are and the containers are no longer filled to the top 'cause I've done a couple cars .... guess I got all the AIO I paid for ... so I can pick-up the container without loosing any.

Second, I like the idea of using the small Goody bottles just in case I drop something & is cracks/breaks, thereby avoiding providing protection for my garage floor.
