Process with AutoGlym?

Thanks steelwind101,

So, my choice will be DC2+NXT (or) AG SRP + NXT, right? If my car condition is not perfect but regularly maintained(waxed every month), which choice do you suggest for a classic silver metallic SUV (Toyota Landcruiser 2006). I want to make my car slick and wet and also want the metallic colour pop under sun.

Isn't there any good, easy to buy, pure cleaners like DC1 in the market? The problem I'm facing now is that If there is pure polish/cleaner, that is a professional range and can't buy easily. If it's not professional range, then it's a All-In-One Product now.

Thanks a Lot.

Thanks SteelWind101,

So u mean I have to choose between DC2+NXT or AG SRP+NXT, right? For a classic silver metallic SUV with good paint condition (not perfect but waxed every month). My car has never been clayed since I got it and it's already 1 year in my hand. Please help me choose again.

Thanks

Hello!

You can still use SRP, DC2 and then NXT but i dont think you will too much benefit from the DC2 in that combo.

The claying sounds good and will bring out a shade of the paintwork you probably have not seen before!

Have you purchased these products yet?

Hi SteelWind101,

I've already had DC2 and NXT in my hand but don't have any cleaner and clay yet. I was in search of DC1 in singapore but not easy but autoglym is everywhere. That's the reason why I'm asking the above questions. As far as Claying, I've heard that it's a very nice step but I've no idea how to do it and what brand to choose? So, if you know any good and cost-effective one, please share.

Thanks

.. paintwork will be sealed after the SRP its unlikly much of the DC2 will have anywhere to go except dry and wiped off. You can still apply it, but i dont think it will go very far its just glazing oils which are best applied to bare paintwork. ..

Even if you just went SRP with NXT over the top that would be good too, again another tried and tested method.

Yeah, good advice there :xyxthumbs

Just use the SRP and then your wax, skip the DC#2.

If you want to do something extra, let the SRP dry for ~24 hours and then apply it again *VERY* gently, just wiping it on very lightly with zero pressure. Yeah..even though it contains stuff that oughta prevent "layering", two applications will last longer than one if you do the second one gently enough (voice of experience).

SRP + NXT oughta look very nice on that particular paint.

For clay, see if you can find ClayMagic Blue or something from Meguiar's...but the SRP will clean the paint pretty well on its own (no, not like clay will, but still not bad).
