Problems

I was working on a Grand Prix last night (year unknown) and it was without a doubt the worst car I have ever seen. Some how this thing had severe oxidation on the rear bumper/deck lid, and front bumper.

I dont have pics yet because I ran out of day light it was 9pm when I finished and I started @ 6:35. First up was a wash with a generic brand shampoo, then I attacked it again with ONR. Then I hit it with the Green CCS pad and medium cut polish. I hit the hood for an hour with my UDM and the oxidation and swirl marks came right out of the hood. The more severe swirl marks are still on there. I asked her if she wanted the sides done tonight or just the hood/roof/deck lid(trunk), and she said just the hood/roof/trunk, so thats all I did and I finished @ 9pm. She is brining it back Saturday so I can finish it up. I think I'll start all over on it, I glazed it lastnight with EZ Cream Glaze II w/ the blue ccs pad.

This job is being done for free. I'll have to snap pics of the bumpers, this thing when I ONR'd it just "ate" the water up, it practically disappeared into the paint it was so dry and oxidized.

Time for the weekend so I can get this car done

I really wanted to get the whole car done but just ran out of time. I need a garage! She called this morning and made an appointment to come back on saturday so I can get the whole car done. ITs supposed to be 103* here then hopefully I wont die!

anyone have any pointers on oxidation removal?
