Problem with Nattys

Yesterday I polished my car with SSR1/RMG/Nattys and it looked perfected inside the garage and under artificial lighting, but when I took it out today I could see where I applied the Nattys by hand but it was smooth to the touch. What did I do wrong? I applied the wax to half my tahoe and then removed it using a PakShak Ultra Plush MF. I have used S100, EX, EX-P, LS and never had this problem on my car or any other car. Ive used Nattys on a red Jaguar and Red Thunderbird and this problem was present either. What do I do? Is it as simple as rewax or do I have to start from scratch again?

Take some S&G to it and it will remove the residue and produce a great shine. I experience the same pheonomenon when using Natty's and this corrects the problem and adds a great shine.

i noticed it too when putting down a coat of s100 on my expedition. Is it from uneven pressure? Why does a QD remove the marks? It is a good general practice to go over the car after you apply the ex-p,s100,natty etc?

I would hesitate to use a QD with cleaning abilities such as S&W. For this reason, I recommended S&G. To the best of my knowledge, it has no cleaning properties, only gloss enhancing attributes. I use it after the application of most waxes to remove the residual wax I seem to always find the next day. Works well and produces an outstanding shine IMHO.

I'm not sure why it happens in all cases, but when you have a light colored vehicle, you miss spots. Some QDs are good cleaners and leave a nice shine. Yes, it is a good idea to go over your vehicle after a waxing/sealing, I usually wait a day or two.

Humidity also plays a factor in how a LSP appears on a vehicle. I detailed a red C6 Corvette earlier this summer and the hood looked streaky. Later that afternoon, a thunderstorm came through, dropping the temperature by 20 degrees and the humidity to a comfortable level. I pulled the 'Vette out of the garage and could not see the "streakiness" in the paintwork. I gave it a once over with QD before the customer picked it up. He was vey happy with the way the 'vette came out and has a few more vehicles for me to detail.

Yep...temp/humidity are the it When I spray OCW on the 2k3 Maixma, I get alot of streaks. The next day I came out and stare at the hood all streaks are gone.
