When I picked up the bottle of 303 Aerospace Protectant in my boat detailing tote tray this spring, the top neck of the 16 oz. bottle tore away from the rest of the bottle.
The bottle was probably 6 to 8 months old and the inside of the neck was discolored in the area where it tore apart.
Obviously, I wasn't happy dumping 16 oz. of 303 on the ground, but what concerned me most was the plastic bottle deteriorating. Since 303 is supposed to be a good thing for plastic, why didn't it protect the plastic bottle?
I'm not sure how I feel about putting a product on my plastic and vinyl that seems to have destroyed the plastic container it was in.
Anyone else ever experienced this?
