Problem accessing site is/was at icann

You may need to go to your "User CP", Edit options, second window is "Messaging & Notification". second box covers subscribed threads and has several options to choose from. Pick the "Instant e-mail notification" and save your changes.

Well this site is consistent I could not access all day and this eve until about 8pm same as ever night.
I have spent so much time talking with tech support and turning my computer in side out I'm just given up.
I called a friend and he has never heard of detail city much less go their and I had him type it in and he got the same message as I get.
That is proof that the problem is NOT a cache problem.

Never heard of Detail City :eek: what has he been living under a rock :rofl:lol2:
 
You can ping to see if you can see the ip address. Detailcity.org is 216.246.2.2. If you cannot ping it is clear it will not be found. Try using the ip address as a url too just in case detailcity.org is not at the DNS.

Embarq tech support pinged the sever but got no response that is one of the reasons we think it is at ICANN they have not updated their Internet server.
Perhaps at night the web is not as busy and it is being redirected through other servers.
