PrinzII vs. The Avian Toilet

On my old Buick I had to clean the hood jam and it was a PITA. Had to lift hood to clean it. Good luck with that!

gm: That's the same Cinnamon Glaze (Actual color name) Neon.

When the gf saw it and the claybar, she was  at how much crud the claybar had and :D at how shiny her car was.

However, she will have to learn how to take care of it which means I will be monitoring this closely.

Is that a naked woman in the picture accross the street in the upper right corner of the image?!

Great "action" shots. Nice turn around :2thumbs:

For the record, I only counted one bird bomb and some leaves on the car this morning. Luckily, the bird bomb was on glass. :chuckle:

I wondered if it was the same car too! Remarkable turnaround Prinz, my parents have the same color on their 2000 Concorde. It seems to be a bit of a rare color as you don't see too many with it. :2thumbs:

Ben: I have seen a lot of Neons and some LH platform cars (Intrepid, Concorde, LHS) in that color around these parts. I guess it depends on the part of the country you are in. :D

Thanks :D

Today, the birds hit the car a few times and the flora from the trees fell on it. I took some PB S&W to QD the car and it came out quite nicely.

Update:

Good news: The car has fewer bird bombs on it

Bad News: The #@$%@! squirrels are taking dumps on it.

Well, since I'm a Neon owner, I will have to acknowledge the cleanest CG Neon I have ever seen, great job on that color, if you get a chance to see some sun out there, take some metallic pop pics.

Mine is black, and there is no way in hell I could live in Chicago with it. I've heard horror stories, I have heard it is sometimes more beneficial and cheaper not to own a car in Chicago, and hard as heck to find a parking spot when you do own one.

I would freak out if bird bombs hit my car daily, black is so hard to keep clean, luckily, dodge gave us great paint, soft enough to repair, but hard enough to resist micromarring from a microfiber.

Again great job:bigups

Thanks. I will agree that Dodge paint is much easier to work with than Nissan paint. This CG Neon took well to Klasse AIO and DACP pretty well but there were still some swirls that the DACP didn't get. I may consider hitting it with Optimum or Menzerna Power Gloss.

It really depends on the part of the city you are in. If you lived in the Loop or Hyde Park, I'd be inclined to agree with you.

A year later, the car is STILL reflective because I have been taking stringent care of it. Everyone that has seen it recently thinks my gf got a new car.

Periodically, I will wax it with P21S.

Update:

My wife's Neon is still shiny to this date. Lately, we have had car salesmen ask us if we have a newer car and the wife lets them know that it is a 2000 with 86,000 miles.

But if you think it's over, stay tuned for Avian Toilet - Part II
