If you have to have a wet surface to use this product, can I just use it prior to drying? Im thinking of putting a sprayer on the bottle. Mist the panel then wipe. Anyone try it?

I thought that was what it was designed to do. :hmmm:
I like to use it as a final spray wax. I cut it 3:1 with water and apply it after detailing or washing when the car is dry.
Well, I'm a little late to the game, but here goes...
Do what you want. If it works, no problem. The only real consequence would be streaking. If it doesn't streak on you, then you are golden. One of my testers washed his car, pulled it in the garage. Applied HS to the entire car then went back and wiped off any remaining water. One thing to note was that this was at least his third coat. After the first coat, the rules are more of gentle suggestions.
Also, HS is water-activated, not a water emulsion. Adding water to the bottle doesn't simply thin it. If you want to spray it, I would suggest a high flow spray head.
