Price tag on window?

I bought my car from a dealer, which had the original price sticker on the window, and they took it off, but you can still see the outline of the numbers sometimes.

I was wondering what is the best way to get this off. I notice it after I wash the car and start drying it but usually don't notice it at other times. I havn't tried anything yet, but am thinking about claying it when I do the rest of my car tomorrow, just wondering if that will work or if I will need something else?

You can clay and wax glass, correct? Though you can get windshield wiper "chatter" if you wax the windshield?

Clay and waxing windshields are ok. Im not sure i would wax as waxes have oils which may be difficult to remove. Go with polishing after a clay, then proceed to clean the window in your normal fashion.....

I've had 2 customers who bought new cars whose windows had the same problem you describe. Claying may work but in both cases, I just used a glass polish (Z-12) and it worked like a charm. An added benefit is that the Z-12 took care of other contaminants that were on the windows from the cars sitting out on the lot.

After polishing, you can just clean with EO 20/20. You can also use a clear sealant like EX-P to give the windows some extra beading performance. When I've done this, I was able to use a qd (usually QS) for cleaning.

In some rare cases, customers asked for Aquapel treatments which has worked *really* well for me. Just make sure to clean Aquapel treated windows with EO 20/20. Using a qd will leave hazing and streaking.
