Pretty Proud Of This One...

I helped this guy out with some product, pads and then spoke with him for awhile on the phone giving him some tips on how to go about detailing his Porsche.

He lives on the upper East Coast and wanted to show his Porsche in a local Porsche event.

This was the outcome, photo taken by a friend of his. The picture is just beautiful and the way the paint looks is just down right incredible :2thumbs: He did a fantastic job for a first timer :waxing:

That looks great! What process did he end up using?

I can't take any credit for this one, but thanks for the kudo's anyway :)

I believe he used a polishing pad and OCP then a finer pad again with OCP and then sealed with OCW.

He says that next time he may go with an orange pad first then go down the ranks. BY the way, the Porsche has 94k miles on it!!

Tthat 94K got my attention! That's an impressive job on so many levels...

What an amazing paint job! I really doubt it came out of the factory like that. The angle he chose there is perfect. That model design will NEVER die out...

Beautiful job!

Also 1 of my fav. cars of all time. The body design also makes for a good showing of reflection.

A friend of mine came by with his black Suburban and asked what i would charge for a total in and out. After i explained to him the cost and what needed to be done (heavy scratches and swirls and kids on the inside) I told him the best way would be for me to rotary the paint and for him to buy a PC and pads and polish, i would show him how to use it.

That way he could keep it up himself and the cost would be around the same.
