Pressure Washers!

brwill......what was your usage pattern on your camsprays.

I have a honking 220V electric .....but actually picked up the ADE camspray for just car washing. Portability was a plus, and the sticker on mine does state it's a 18amp draw. I actually looked at the Kranzle aswell, but I did not need all the gimmicks of wheels and reels on the PW unit. I have at least 150 on my Reelcraft and plan to just use my 50 footer on the campspray....

I hated pressure washers till I coined up to get a good one. In the past 2 years I went threw 4 of them ****** Karcher cheap units. One Snap-on version from Costco and a Husky from Lowes. All these units are practiclly the same. Nice looking and valued price. They may hold up for some like Accumulator who babys everything. If your a real working man trying to make a buck and realling on these things. You better off screwing the ole pooch if you ge my point. You really need to coin up and buy a nice one. If I was doing more mobile I would buy a camspray in a heartbeat. I still have a cheapo Karcher for mobile jobs. My in house pressure washer is this one below!

Delco Euro Series 2300 PSI 5.0 GPM General Pump Pressure Washer - DH2305 at The Home Depot

Its the best investment I ever made. It runs on 220 electric, but then again. Why drive a crown-vic when you can roll in a Caddy.

One o the biggest things I leaned about them cheapo pressure washers is not to run hot water threw them. It melts the orings. Also the seals go bad. Just not worth the money at all. There are many nice units out there, but you really need to coin up to get them.

Hot water is okay depending on the unit.....

O rings are meant to be replaced, if not , that is normal maitence....but this is generally on the quick disconnects, etc...

Rule of thumb if not mobile, if noise is a concern, get electric.

Otherwise, get the biggest baddest one you can get with the best pump/GPM...if you plan to use this for other duties...

AR383 is the unit I'm looking to grab for a mobile / electric / relatively low cost on Amazon.

Heh heh, yeah, I sure woulda thought I was babying my pressure washers, so when they kept dying on *me* I wised up and realized I'd been buying nice looking junk.

OUCH! Hey Theal, them there are fightin' words ;) Not that I don't have a serious Jones for certain Cadillacs too!

What would be *your* choice for a household current 15-18A one? I *could* go 220V but that'd really limit it to use in the detailing shop.

I found this site Pressure Washers Direct too many choices, now I have even less of an idea.

That happens to me too, guess I just don't know enough to make the right choices.

I just bought a little simoniz a few months back. I have very low expectations after doing some internet browsing, I just hope it makes it through the summer.

If I were to buy a high quality one I would need to order it. I am worried about having problems and not being able to do anything about it from so far away. It is very hard to find the high level brand dealer or repair locations in my area. I live in Canada does anyone have some suggestions?
