The question; I have is winter is coming and I was wondering what kind of Detailing Tips you might have for preparing a vehicle for the winter weather. Here in California, we do not have the server weather conditions as in other parts of the country, but we do have rain and we had a lot last winter.
I do drive my vehicles during the rainy season and for the most part my vehicles are parked outside. Too many vehicles and stuff in the Garage. When the weather is dry I do use a Car Cover. Two of my vehicles are the wonderful color of Black, one Taupe and Yellow.
I have tried a number of different Car Care Products, but I noticed that they do not last very long. I don't mind washing weekly and quick polish every other week during the dry seasons, but I would like a little more protection during the winter because of all the grit and dirt that gets "flings" on the vehicles when driving.
If it takes multiple coats and a good paste wax to protect and make it last longer then I don't mind doing that. So I figure I could start now and by the time winter comes I'll have a good base.
Thank you in advance for your suggestions and guidance.
